About

Tucked away under Brighton Railway Station, Brighton Toy and Model Museum has had many thousand happy visitors since we opened in 1991. Our foyer is a Tourist Information Point, and a first point of call for visitors arriving in Brighton. Inside the museum, you'll find four Victorian arches of working model railway layouts, dolls, construction kits and toys from the Golden Age of Toymaking from the late Nineteenth Century through the 1930s, to the 1950s and '60s. The museum is also a venue – we have a small, intimate space where we host the Toy Museum Folk Club, and we're also an official venue for Brighton Fringe. We take private bookings too, so if you need a space for your corporate event, and you want something different, why not give us a try?
