Wild Boar Wood Campsite has nine pre-erected bell tents set up among the trees within a five-acre woodland with campfires allowed. With no electricity on site and cars parked away from the camping area it is a relaxing environment to get away from it all and appreciate a slower pace of life. A highlight of a stay at Wild Boar Wood is seeing the steam trains of the Bluebell Railway passing right by. Each with its own fire pit, eco stove, and picnic bench outside and is kitted out with a double memory-foam mattress on a futon base, fold-out beds for kids, tableware and cooking equipment inside. We call our unique style of camping "wild glamping" as we have no butler service, silk sheets or hot tubs. Rather we provide a real woodland camping experience made easy. It's perfect for families, couples and groups of families who want to enjoy the great outdoors together.
