West Prawle House, rebuilt after a fire at the end of the 19th Century, still contains parts of the original farm house which was the only dwelling in East Portlemouth parish to have been listed in the Domesday Book. With far-reaching views inland towards Dartmoor, we nestle at the head of a valley, below the worst of the prevailing winds . We are within half a mile of the inspiring South Hams coastline and coastal path, Close to the sandy beaches of the Salcombe estuary and midway between East Portlemouth and East Prawle, the southernmost village in Devon. Our grounds, which are open to our guests, include a part of West Prawle valley with a small lake, We welcome families with young children and also accept well behaved dogs.
