We are a sixteenth century coaching inn, restaurant and pub, which has been under new ownership since August 2019. In the past year we have undertaken extensive renovations, and have recently opened up our 8 newly refurbished bedrooms, all of which are en suite, and a two-bedroom self-contained appartment. We serve food every day, all of which is freshly cooked to order. We also serve cream teas, cakes, and a selection of real ales, draught lagers and ciders, wines and non-alcoholic beverages. Close to the South West Coast Path, The Anchor offers walkers a range of services. We can arrange pick-ups and drop-offs from nearby sections of the path, supply packed lunches, and even dry rain-soaked clothing. Please see the website for more information.
