Bury St Edmunds Guildhall
About
The Guildhall is a medieval Grade 1 listed building in the heart of Bury St Edmunds's. It offers a choice of unique and beautiful spaces for hire and is perfect for weddings, private functions, corporate and community events of all sizes. It also contains Britain’s only surviving WWII Royal Observer Corps Operations Room - an unsung group of local heroes who were the ‘eyes and ears of the RAF’ during the Battle of Britain. Throughout the year, the Guildhall offers a range of cultural events, including exhibitions, talks, concerts, workshops, and free Open Days. You can also book a private tour to discover the remarkable individuals and events that shaped 800 years of history hidden behind this unique building's flint walls. Opening times: Office opening hours are Monday to Friday, 10am – 4pm. The venue is open to the public during scheduled events only, which will be advertised on our website.
