Come visit the historic Greene King Beer Café, situated in the 1930s Westgate Brewery in Bury St Edmunds. Our guided tours invite you inside the long‑standing brewing tower, where you can climb a hundred steps to a panoramic view of the town and learn how our beers are crafted. Once back in the café you’ll taste hand‑picked selections and may even take a bottle home. The café offers excellent food until 3 pm, with a full English menu and numerous drink options. Group bookings are available for larger parties. Whether you’re a history lover, a beer enthusiast or simply looking for a unique local experience, the Greene King Brewery Tour offers rich storytelling, tasty brews and friendly staff. The tour lasts about one hour and forty minutes and costs £20 per adult. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made either online via the “Book a Tour” page or by calling 01284 843326. The venue opens Tuesday‑Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm, Friday‑Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, and serves food from 10 am to 3 pm on those days.
