Ensuite bedrooms to a high standard on the ground floor with outside access have been recently added. The Prince is situated close to the A465 dual carriageway between Rhymney and Tredegar the nearest large town just 4 km away is Merthyr Tydfil a town which was at the centre of the Industrial Revolution when coal, iron and steam changed the face of the world. On the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park it is an ideal location for cyclists , walkers and central for tourists. Bryn Bach Country Park is less than 1km with lake, Golf, and cycling facilities including BMX track. The Prince has a comprehensive menu served all day from 12:00 - 9:00pm with the majority of meals home made. The bar has a good range of beers and lagers including Felinfoel Double Dragon, Guinness and locally brewed Rhymney beers plus an excellent range of wines, spirits and low or non alcohol drinks.
