Y Porth is a grade II listed property, a former 18th century Coaching inn, although the origins of the site date back to Tudor times, where there is historic evidence to suggest the inn was a thatched roof ale house, with the church behind it, St Tysul hosting medieval fairs. A family run business for over 30 years, the Porth has recently undergone (2022) a refurbishment in the traditional bar & river view restaurant. The bar includes a selection of Welsh produce, with often a choice of two real ales on offer. 2020 saw the completion of a brand new patioed terrace and glass panelled fencing area, creating a tranquil area to watch the River Teifi's wildlife, and enjoy food & drink on the new seating area provided.
