Unlike so many pubs, The UB doesn’t focus on food. Instead, the key emphasis is the very nature of the traditional British pub: drinking. A unique community venue in the heart of Chelmsford, boasts gorgeous and traditional décor as well as 10 taps and 3 hand pumps, including classic and unusual draught and cask beers. Alongside our beers we also have a comprehensive selection of bottled lagers and ciders, together with a quality wine list, with wines from all around the World and an ever increasing range of spirits, particularly local and regional gins, all served with a smile by passionate people that care.
