"The Miners Sling is a very popular eaterie and B&B in this thriving Forest Of Dean. The Pub itself is beautiful, light and airy, decorated very simply with great sophistication. The crowd is comfortable and chatty. The menu is classic British with twists, confident and inventive. What's cooking? For starters, try the Madgetts Farm Caesar salad beignets or the 48 hour sourdough bread and Netherend Farm butter. For mains, you could have the straight forward ribeye steak au poivre with chargrilled tomato and Triple cooked chips, or a complex dish like the Trio of Monmouth lamb with with rosemary and whipped potato. Very strong wine list & local soft drinks and ales
