Kyle and the team welcome you to the Stamford Bridge, a traditional coaching house dating back to the 18th Century built on an old Roman Road and located near to the remains of an ancient bridge dated c. 1300’s. Today, the pub continues to provide visitors with a relaxed drinking and dining experience. Come in an enjoy as many have done in the past. The Stamford Bridge is a mere two miles from the roman city of Chester, with its numerous tourist attractions and only ten minutes from the famous Chester Zoo. A great just-out-of-town location to either stop for a bite to eat on the way through or enjoy a relaxing meal anytime. With its wonderful views over the Cheshire Plains, The Stamford Bridge is the perfect place to enjoy the lighter evenings in our warm & welcoming atmosphere or while away the wintery nights by our log fires.
