Adventure Parc Snowdonia
About
Adventure Parc Snowdonia is a world‑first adventure destination set in the dramatic Conwy Valley of North Wales. Originally opened in 2015 as Surf Snowdonia, it pioneered the UK’s first commercial artificial surf lagoon, a 300‑metre wave pool that hosts waves up to two metres high. The lagoon feeds off rainwater collected from the nearby Llyn Cowlyd reservoir and is powered by a 2‑MW motor, providing riders with a unique inland surfing experience. The park has evolved into a year‑round activities hub. Inside the indoor complex visitors find a ninja assault course, rope‑wall climbs, soft play, and a caving attraction. Outside, the sprawling landscape offers a high‑wire Zip Line, a climbing wall, and bike hire, plus the ever‑popular coasteering and gorge‑walking trails that showcase the rugged scenery of Snowdonia. After a temporary closure in September 2023 due to mechanical failures, the venue has reopened in September 2025 under new ownership. In addition to the original wave pool, the new indoor/outdoor centre now includes a dedicated glamping area featuring 36 wooden pods that can accommodate up to four guests, complete with a nearby café, deli, and bar. Whether you’re looking for adrenaline‑filled water sports, a family‑friendly adventure trail, or a quiet spot to soak in the Welsh mountains, Adventure Parc Snowdonia offers an eclectic mix of attractions that combine natural beauty with cutting‑edge entertainment.”}
