About
The Albion Ale House is a charming Grade II‑listed pub that sits in the historic town of Conwy. Its Art Nouveau interiors were restored in 2012 as part of a partnership with four local breweries, preserving the building’s original character while celebrating the region’s brewing heritage. The pub prides itself on a rotating selection of locally brewed ales from Conwy Brewery, Great Orme Brewery, Bragdy'r Nant, and Purple Moose, making it a favourite haunt for beer lovers and history buffs alike. In 2013 it was named CAMRA Wales Pub of the Year and also received the English Heritage Pub Design of the Year award, cementing its status as both a cultural landmark and a convivial social hub.
