We have a daily selection of home-made hot meals (check out the blackboard on arrival) as well as delicious sandwiches, which can be enjoyed with a glass of beer or wine. We also serve great coffee, tea and a lovely selection of locally made cakes. True elegance, style and class, the history at the Royal Pump Rooms runs deep. Originally the most famous of all the spa baths opened in July 1814, but as the industry began to wane and after much deliberation over many years the Assembly Rooms were transformed into a tea room with a quite unusual drinking fountain so that passers-by could taste the spa waters.
