The Crown Inn
About
Richard and Caroline look forward to welcoming you to their beautiful, family run pub and campsite. This 18th Century Grade II listed drovers inn is set in beautiful surroundings next to the River Alwen. It recently appeared in the media as one of North Wales best beer garden, and it is easy to see why! The stunning seating area cascades down to the side of the river with awe-inspiring views from all tables. Serving excellent, locally brewed real Welsh ales and good classic ‘pub grub’ during all opening hours, The Crown Inn is the perfect pit stop for all. The long strip behind the pub is in fact an intimate wild campsite with 16 riverside pitches. Here, the kids can paddle and swim in safety, wildlife can be spotted and brown trout caught by the keen fisherman. Nearby, there are numerous hiking routes and nature trails all nestled within the Clocaenog Forest. There are even some secret waterfalls! The Crown really does have something for everyone.
