About

The Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft houses the world's largest collection of historic trolleybuses, together with a number of other vehicles and much more, offering a fascinating day out for all the family. It is open on specific event days when visitors can ride on a selection of trolleybuses and we also operate a free conducted tour of the local area in one of our vintage motor buses. Other attractions include our 5 rated cafe, children's play area, period shop displays, presentations (including childrens favourites) in our cinema, a 1950s prefab home, a Toy Museum and a cycle shop display. There is also a special exhibition on "Trolleybuses of the Humber." Many event days also feature themes and additional visiting attractions. There is level access to most features on our site. If you need assistance our volunteers are always happy to help. We have a height-adjustable changing bench in our accessible toilet.
