Tim at Macara's Bar Tim, Claire and family have created a relaxed informal hotel where you can sit back by the open fire and enjoy traditional real ale, or play pool, darts or other traditional pub games. The hotel has been awarded two stars by the Scottish tourist board, a testament to the superb amenities and comfort. Macaras is a traditional Scottish bar with log burner, where musicians often turn up for a session or you can enjoy a “blether” with the locals. The lounge bar with its huge open fire is a lovely place to relax after a hard day in the hills or by the river bank. The games room has a card table, pool table and dartboard to while away the hours. The hotel also has a restaurant serving food seven days a week a large beer garden and free wi fi.
