Original cottage where the first Savings Bank was started in 1810 by Rev. Henry Duncan D.D. The story also covers other aspects of the Henry Duncan story such as the Ruthwell Cross, newpapers, fossil footprints, books and artwork. An impressive collection of piggy banks is also available to view and wonder at.
