We are pleased to announce that Tayside Police Museum will open for the 2025 season on Thursday 17th April (Easter weekend), until the end of October. We will be open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11am until 3pm, but would ask anyone planning to visit to arrive before 2.30 so as to get sufficient time to appreciate the many items on display and their related (his)stories! Located on the ground floor of Kirriemuir Police Station at 15 Reform Street, the museum is owned by Police Scotland, and operated by a small group of enthusiastic volunteers composed of retired Police officers and members of the Kirriemuir Heritage Trust. Our aim is to preserve the heritage and history of policing in all of the areas that now comprise the Tayside region, that is Dundee City, Angus, and Perth & Kinross. We very much look forward to welcoming you!
