The Bishop Auckland People’s Museum is a community volunteer ran project established to educate visitors of the history and heritage of Bishop Auckland and the surrounding area. We operate the Museum, a Remembrance Garden, a heritage walk and a Bishop Auckland Railway exhibition. We hope you enjoy your visit and get a glimpse into our towns past.
