***2025 Season commences 6th April 2025*** SHED47 Railway Restoration Group welcomes you to Lathalmond Railway Museum, situated within the grounds of our friends the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum. Shed47 Railway Restoration Group started the project in 1997, housed in the original WW2 Royal Navy loco shed, and over the past 21 years have been rebuilding a small section of the once vast railway system in the former RNSD Lathalmond site. Visit and find out all about the Dunfermline area's rich railway heritage, see the projects we are working on and travel on our 2 short railway lines, travel behind Scotland's newest Steam Loco on our narrow gauge line every second Sunday, view our new Dunfermline's Railway Story exhibition, and on special days see our weighbridge and model railway too. Open 6th April until 5th October in 2025 every Sunday, see our website for opening times & Steam days.
