We provide hospitality in elegant and comfortable surroundings to guests visiting Edinburgh on business and to those wishing to enjoy a short sightseeing break. We are within easy walking distance of Edinburgh's world-famous Castle, Palaces, Gardens, Museums, Shopping centers, and our local train tram & bus stations. There are many fine restaurants, bars & nightclubs to suit all types. We are very close to these establishments, although not that close to causing a disturbance. (In these uncertain times, I wanted to reach out to you personally about what we are doing here at Broughton Hotel to support you and your travel plans. As the situation around the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are doing everything we can to ensure your travel safety and provide maximum flexibility. Your Travel Safety As it has always been, the safety and security of our guests and team members remain our highest priority. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken additional measures developed in consultation with global and local public health authorities (including the WHO and CDC) to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous: Our hotel staff is receiving ongoing briefings and enhanced operating protocols. We have increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas (including lobbies, door handles, bathrooms, etc.) and have continued the use of hospital-grade disinfectants. We have increased the deployment of antibacterial hand sanitizers and all bathroom toiletries are individual. Soft furnishing items removed. We are prepared to act swiftly should we be alerted to a case of coronavirus and would contact all guests with the current update.
