The Orange Elephant Ice Cream Parlour
About
Based just outside Exeter, why not come down and enjoy ice cream that has been made using modern methods but local sourced and tradition Devon ingredients, including milk from our famous Orange Elephants. Rob and Helen Taverner are reviving the old Devonshire Milking Cow on the farm as a milking breed. Nicknamed Orange Elephants due to their distinctive ears, long noses and rusted coloured coats, over the course of the twentieth century they were just a beef breed. But their rich and creamy milk makes our incredible Orange Elephant Ice Cream that bit special. Tea and coffees using local produce can also be enjoyed, while in the summer the Summer meadow play area is open to let you see some of the animals from the farm and children to have some fun. We have also just added a ice cream drive through and do a click and collect service in the winter months.
