Our shepherds huts give you the chance to really get away from it all, to relax and unwind, to enjoy a slower pace of life and beautiful surroundings. Our shepherds huts are beautifully appointed and perfect for two. Think comfortable, luxury living with all that you need to enjoy time away from home. Situated within the grounds of The Emerald, a luxury boutique eco retreat hidden away within five beautifully landscaped acres, Melody Farm Shepherds Huts offer the best of all that Cornwall has to offer. Close to Falmouth and Truro, beaches and attractions, pubs and restaurants, yet set just far enough off the beaten track that you feel like you're in a different world. We've an indoor heated swimming pool, which our guests are welcome to use any time of day or night. The pool is heated using electricity we generate ourselves and is kept at a constant temperature of 32 degrees - wonderfully warm, even on a chilly winter's day. Depending on your mood, you can change the lighting in the pool complex - enjoy a midnight swim in dark blue light or an early morning dip pepped up with pink lighting! With well appointed changing rooms, a cloakroom and towels that we provide for poolside use, all you need to do is remember to pack your swimsuit! For those wanting to keep on track with their physical activity regimes we've a small gym. Within the gym we've treadmills, a rowing machine, cross trainer, weights and boxing equipment. All of this is complimented by a Bose sound system and widescreen television, so you can work out to the soundtrack of your choice. Just don't forget your trainers! We've also got a tennis court here in our grounds, which you are welcome to use, as well as table tennis, croquet and cricket nets. We've all the equipment you need to enjoy using whichever of these facilities you choose to use. If you prefer to simply enjoy your surroundings our grounds have plenty to offer you. We've a meadow area, a large pond with gazebo looking over it, an orchard and secret pathways wandering through the trees. When we developed The Emerald we planted more native species so we could encourage more wildlife to our site. These compliment some of the more tropical planting people often expect of Cornish gardens, meaning our grounds are beautiful and enjoyable all year round. Our huts are superbly appointed, our grounds offer you seclusion and our location in Cornwall is perfect for beaches, eating out and country walks.
