Known as the 'House of the Trees,' Trewithen is set in mature woodland gardens, featuring Champion Trees and Cornish Champions which can be admired while wandering beneath the canopy. Visitors can explore tranquil areas such as the Walled Garden, South Lawn, Cockpit, and water features. Recognised as a ‘Garden of Excellence’ by the International Camellia Society, Trewithen showcases vibrant spring displays, as well as botanical rarities brought back from Plant Hunters’ expeditions to China and the Himalayas. House tours of this privately owned Georgian home offer a glimpse into Cornwall’s heritage (please check our website for 2025 dates). The Tea Shed, enjoying views of the gardens and visiting wildlife, offers locally sourced cream teas, lunches, coffee and cake.
