Castell Henllys Iron Age Village
About
Castell Henllys Iron Age Village is a living history attraction set within a 30‑acre woodland and river meadow in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Reconstructed on the very spot where Iron Age roundhouses once stood, visitors wander through authentic stone and wooden structures, meet costumed villagers, and explore a range of interactive demonstrations and talks that bring pre‑Roman Britain to life. A friendly guide‑member of the Demetae tribe leads a free‑in‑clusion walking tour of the village, showing how the people worked, cooked, and played. While at the site you can discover woodland wildlife, visit a riverside café called Blasus @ Henllys, and enjoy a barefoot trail that encourages you to step back in time. The site is fully wheelchair‑accessible and offers free entry for annual pass holders, residents of Eglwyswrw, and wheelchair users with appropriate documentation.
