The Lost Distillery Company is a family-run craft spirits business located on the beautiful 2000-acre Dumfries House Estate, headquarters of The King’s Foundation. Founded in 2012, our mission is twofold: to revive whisky production in Ayrshire and to preserve Scotland’s whisky heritage. Through the art of blending and academic research, The Lost Distillery Company brings back long-lost malt distilleries. We strive to ensure that these remarkable pioneers and their whiskies are not forgotten and remain a part of Scotland’s rich history. We invite you to visit our Whisky Room, dating back to the 1700s, and embark on a journey through time to discover some of Scotland’s most fascinating and groundbreaking whiskies.
