Under new Management from 14th October 2019. For travellers visiting Sandsend, the Woodlands Hotel is an excellent choice. Situated in a peaceful and picturesque little valley and only 300 metres from the beach, the Woodlands makes it easy to enjoy the best of Sandsend. Breakfast is included at The Woodlands, ample free parking is available, the hotel is dog friendly and has it's own bar. There are a few eating places within walking distance and a regular bus service into Whitby from the end of the lane. Should time allow, Turnstone Gallery and Mulgrave Castle are some popular attractions that are within walking distance. The hotel is also convenient for walkers of the Coast to Coast and Cleveland Way. The Woodlands is sure to make your visit to Sandsend one worth remembering.
