Then return to your four-bedroom cottage, which features an open layout that encourages relaxing and socializing. Your group of 8 will find plenty to do in the area to suit all tastes—from kitesurfing on the beach, to sampling local cuisine in one of Rye's cosy pubs, to exploring the historical sites of 1066 Country. Step into the eclectic and inviting dining area with a table for six and a bookshelf that is stocked for your perusal. On the other side of the hall, a bright, open lounge area features various comfortable spots to recline, plus a flat-screen TV with an Amazon Fire Stick for keeping up with your favorite shows. French doors in this room open onto the partially decked patio, with marshland stretching as far as the eye can see. You will find plenty of room for multiple chefs in the spacious kitchen, furnished with crisp white cabinets, updated appliances, and a 2-person table where you can perch with your morning coffee while looking through a second set of French doors out to the patio. Bed & Bath Upstairs at Mariners Moon are 4 generous bedrooms. The master bedroom enjoys plenty of space, a front aspect, a king-sized bed, a beautiful ensuite, and fitted wardrobes. The second room is a double room with a front view. Bedroom three has views over the marsh, bunk beds, and a single twin bed—perfect for the younger travelers in your party. The fourth bedroom is a single room at the front of the house. There is a family bathroom with a shower attachment head and bath, plus a WC, on the main floor. Outdoors A favorite feature at Mariners Moon is the outdoor patio. A low fence allows you to take in the expansive marsh views while also ensuring your kids and pups are safe to run about. A charcoal bbq provides a place to grill your market finds, and evening sea breezes will refresh your group as you dine under the stars. The cottage has parking for one car on the drive and free street parking nearby.
