Discover the aviation and wartime history of south Pembrokeshire, take a trip back to the 1940s and experience the restored Control Tower building as it would have been during the war years. Don a helmet, take cover and sing wartime songs in our reconstructed Stanton Air Raid Shelter, now built above ground for easy access by all. Experience our huge array of exhibits of the era in our museum collection including military uniforms, RAF maps, radio equipment, ration books, Bren gun, Enfield rifle and many, many more… Enjoy the personal testimonies and local stories of the wartime in Carew from two of our very active members now in their 80’s – Both were in secondary school in 1939! And now you can come and see our restoration progress in the newly built hanger on our Avro Anson, Thompson Fuel bowser and Fordson tractor.
