Monkton Wyld Court has a long history of offering eco-friendly organic B&B hospitality, with all proceeds going towards the upkeep of our beautiful Victorian-Gothic Grade II Listed manor house and the Trust’s charitable activities. The B&B is run by a small community of friendly volunteers; guests are welcome to enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the spacious house and grounds in privacy, but those interested in the centre can always find people willing to share their experiences of low-impact living. Breakfast is self-serve and includes milk and yoghurt from our Jersey cows as well as home-made jams and local honey. We ask that all our guests wash their own dishes after meals, and strip their beds before leaving. We don’t have any television in the house and only limited wifi, but can provide you with plenty of board games and books, and maps for walks across the lush Dorset hills and down to the Jurassic Coast. The historic market towns of Bridport and Axminster are also just a short drive away.
