The pub prides itself on excellent service, family-friendly facilities including highchairs and a welcome for dogs in the bar and beer garden. During winter maintenance periods the opening hours are from 10:00 to 11:00 pm (tightening to 10:30 pm on Sundays), with lunch from 12:00 to 2:00 pm and dinner from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
