The Hull People's Memorial Museum
About
The Hull People's Memorial Museum is a small, volunteer operated, museum of Kingston upon Hull and its citizens during the World Wars of the 20th century. Admission is free and we are accessible to all. We are subject to the restrictions currently in place due to the covid-19 pandemic which means that our 'please touch & handle' policy has had to be suspended and, unfortunately, it is 'strictly hands off' until we are told otherwise by H.M. Govt. The museum is currently closed due to the pandemic restrictions, but the gift shop is now open as usual. Our apologies for any disappointment this may cause. IMPORTANT NOTICE We are sad to announce that rising prices, rents, rates, fuel and lighting mean that The Hull People's Memorial Museum and Gift Shop are to permanently close their doors. The final day to visit the museum is 28th April 2022 and the final day to shop in our gift shop is 28th May 2022. We would be very grateful to continue to receive your feedback and memories.
