We are a Cumbria Quality Assured Guest House in the centre of Bowness on Windermere overlooking Lake Windermere & the Langdale Pikes. 11 rooms are en-suite & all have shower & some also have a bath. Several rooms have superb lake views & we are central for the many bars & restaurants in Town. Price includes breakfast & we have free parking & WiFi. Well established we try to make all guests feel relaxed & comfortable. We serve an a la carte breakfast with ample choice. Location is central meaning virtually all Lake District destinations are within one hour of our door. Kendal, Ambleside, Grasmere, Hawkshead & Coniston are easily reached as are the attractions of Windermere Lake cruises, Beatrix Potter, the Steamboat Museum, Dove Cottage, Blackwell, Brock Hole, Hill Top & Wray Castle. Some of the finest restaurants in England are here with Michelin * dining. Children & extra beds are not permitted. To reduce our carbon footprint towels are changed every other day during your visit.
