Bassenfell Manor, near Bassenthwaite Lake in the Lake District, is a residential centre that sleeps up to 65, and a holiday apartment that sleeps up to 4. It is situated in 3 acres of grounds with adventure play equipment and provides comfortable accommodation in 19 bedrooms plus the self catering apartment. Groups: The Manor is the ideal centre for school groups, youth groups and church groups. It is well equipped to cater for up to 70. Enjoy the experience of our adventure equipment in the grounds - there's something for all ages. You could abseil from the balcony, do an 18m tree climb or have a go at archery, to name a few of the activities on offer. Holidays: Activity holidays for individuals and couples, such as walking, kayaking and relaxing 'Bassenfell Breaks'. Holiday Apartment: If you'd prefer to come to Bassenfell and enjoy a short break to do your own holiday, we have a well-equipped holiday flat, which sleeps up to 4. Courses: Get qualified in First Aid, Mountain Leadership, Dinghy Sailing and other activities.
