An award-winning conversion of a traditional Galloway steading into a three bed-roomed, dog-friendly holiday cottage, completed to very high standards, peacefully situated on Castle Creavie farm. The living area is warm and cozy, full of character with oak floors and a fabulous new wood-burning stove. The property boasts stunning views through large double glazed windows set in the original archways. Colour TV, DVD player, and stereo system are provided. There is a fully fitted kitchen. Also on the ground floor, up two easy steps is a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower / WC. Upstairs there is the main bathroom / WC and two further bedrooms to sleep two people each with French balcony opening windows looking out over the unspoiled Galloway countryside. There is ample private car parking and a spacious patio area with a BBQ to relax and enjoy the tranquil setting, views, and sunsets. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the Steading and there is always a field available for walking your dogs (maximum of two dogs at £15 per dog per week). A perfect place for a week or longer to enjoy the peace and quiet and the activities offered in the area. Local produce is available for pre-order to have available to you in the property for when you arrive and sunset prosecco picnics are also provided for an additional fee. Clay pigeon shooting is also available upon request. Please enquire directly for availability and prices. All heating electric and bed linen are included in the price – but please bring your own towels. For your convenience, we provide tea towels, washing-up equipment, and a hand towel.
