Located just five minutes from Junction 35 of the M6, the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis is a unique blend of indoor tropical halls, walk‑through enclosures and open air habitats that showcase over 100 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates. The zoo operates year‑round, opening daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (except Christmas and Boxing Day) and offers hands‑on keeper encounters, a Wild Café with a conservatory and picnic area, and a range of educational programmes for visitors of all ages. Friendly staff and interactive exhibits make it an ideal family outing, school field‑trip or nature lover’s escape within the picturesque Lake District.
