The Garden Suite is located at Fiddler Hall Barn, set on 8 acres of Lake District farmland and beautiful gardens. Close to all the South Lakes attractions, including walking, stately homes, Foodie destinations, Honey Pot villages, Cartmel Races and the Fells, it's a perfect and private getaway for couples and solo adventurers. The space The Garden Suite is a self contained space with private entry, and is detached from the main house: a converted barn set in a lovely garden. There is a large sleeping area, a large sitting/dining area and a private terrace with table and chairs for dining on those warm and sunny days. The recently refurbished bathroom is large with bath and walk in shower, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Guest access The garden suite is spacious, private, and all yours! There is a terrace set in the garden just outside the suite's lounge doors which you are also welcome to use. The main garden, which the guest patio overlooks, is for our private family use. Fiddler Hall Barn is a working farm with livestock, so we reserve the fields for our sheep and lambs. Other things to note The local environment is perfect for days out whatever the weather. We provide maps and walks in the room to help you plan your stay. The Garden Suite is just 3 minutes drive to Fell Foot Park and Windermere lake, and ideally placed for access to the other southern lakes (Coniston Water, Esthwaite Water) and the western and central lakes. Ambleside, Grasmere, Rydal, Bowness and Windermere villages are 20+ minutes away, and the M6 is 15 minutes' drive. There are museums, gardens and experiences in the localty and South Lakes boasts excellent music festivals and the very popular Cartmel Races. There are Stately Homes, award-winning restaurants and National Trust properties close by, too.
