The Horse and Jockey is a privately owned business in the village of Congerstone, a short distance from the centre of Market Bosworth. Set in pretty countryside, alongside the Ashby canal network and Ivanhoe cycle path is very popular with tourists throughout the summer. The business boasts a popular seperate restaurant, a spacious room that is both informal and relaxing. The menu offerings have emphasis on flavours, freshness and good value and what we have created is a modern approach to traditional favourites. We also have a seperate bar and lounge area where you can enjoy an open fire, cask ales, a varied wine menu and great selection of malt whiskies. In addition to the restaurant we have a bar menu offering a simpler, lighter approach to eating with us but without compromising our cooking principles. In the summer you can enjoy the weather using our large garden area or maybe on the terrace. We also host regular live music which compliments the style of the business.
