The Nevill Arms is a country hotel and pub in the historic village of Medbourne in Leicestershire’s Welland Valley. We have 10 boutique bedrooms, a restaurant (open to non-hotel guests) and a friendly bar. There is also an outside courtyard with a Josper bar & grill and a 'river terrace' beside the village brook. The hotel was refurbished in 2023/2024. We have our own farm four miles away so our beef, lamb and pork is very local. Central to the farm is a herd of Belted Galloway cattle – a traditional breed producing incredibly flavoursome meat. In 2024, we were named ‘one of the cosiest places to stay in the UK’ by The Times, and included in The Daily Mail’s ‘Best 100 pubs in Britain’. Country Life, meanwhile, described us a ‘stunning venue’. We're midway between the charming towns of Market Harborough and Uppingham (7 miles from each) - and Foxton Locks, Rockingham Castle and the Nevill Holt Festival are just three of the attractions that visitors to this beautiful area enjoy.
