Bringing the very best in live entertainment since 1893, the New Theatre Royal is a stunning, independent, family run, Grade-II listed Victorian theatre, nestled in the centre of the historic city of Lincoln. The theatre was given a new breath of life in September 2016 when new custodians re-opened its doors, welcoming over 90,000 people per year into its beautiful auditorium. Offering everything from musicals and opera, through to film screenings, children’s theatre and live music - not to forget their in-house productions including its popular Christmas Pantomime, Easter Productions, and Comedy Nights at the Royal. The theatre has won several awards including the Lincoln Civic Award 2020-21 for its commitment to offering entertainment for the whole family.
