We're an independent, family run, award-winning freehouse . At 850ft near the top of Halkyn Mountain we've spectacular 70 mile views over Dee & Mersey rivers, distant Cumbrian mountains & Pennine hills. Dogs are welcome.Our extensive events list is enjoyed by walkers, riders, cyclists,. Award-winning walks are on our website and a free WiFi keeps you in touch. Real fires in winter add to the warm welcome. We are open 12 till 11pm every day we also have a Shepherd's hut to rent sleeping 2 people,
