Wyld, the UK’s first public floating sauna, has faced the challenges of pioneering something new. As a floating startup, we’ve battled power cuts, 90mph winds from Storm Darragh, faulty thermostats, and equipment failures. Most recently, 11 out of 15 heating elements failed, forcing us to fly to Finland for emergency replacements. Despite these setbacks, we’ve tackled every challenge, and everything is now fully resolved—ensuring an experience that reflects our vision. Blending Scandinavian sauna culture with Liverpool’s urban energy, Wyld offers a serene retreat to breathe, reset, and unwind. At its core, Wyld is about authentic sauna experiences, fostering community, relaxation, and rejuvenation—just steps from the city’s heart.
