Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens
About
Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens is an award‑winning restoration project nestled in the picturesque valley of Anglesey, overlooking the Menai Strait and the mountains of Snowdonia. Over 10 acres of historic gardens—comprising a formal 2‑acre Walled Garden, a cascading Valley Garden with waterfalls, and an Upper Woodland Garden—have been lovingly restored to their nineteenth‑century splendor. Visitors can stroll through themed sections, marvel at the river Cadnant’s gentle flow, and relax in a charming tea room that serves homemade cakes and light lunches. The estate also offers five self‑catering cottages, including the Coach House and Garden Cottage, providing a peaceful retreat for couples, families or group celebrations. Open daily from noon to 5 p.m. (except Fridays) throughout the year, the gardens are a haven for nature lovers, history enthusiasts and couples seeking a quiet escape.
