The wonders of the V&A include the lavishly decorated, original Victorian refreshment rooms, the first ever to be purpose-built in a museum. Here you can enjoy a wide selection of hot food, salads, sandwiches and cakes as you take in the amazing architecture and décor all around you. If the weather is warm, visit the Garden Café for food or drinks and take them outside on the lawn, or visit the Courtyard Cafe in the stunning courtyard found just inside the Exhibition Road entrance. Children are well catered for here - there is a children's menu at the hot food counter in the main cafe and all menu items are available in half portions throughout the museum, including the Member's Room. Children's lunchboxes are also available in the main and garden cafes.
