Reliving childhood memories and age-old tradition, Bollywood Stories offers a wide range of authentic Indian flavours in a vibrant, colourful setting. In the Indian culture, it’s the tradition that before you start anything good or auspicious, a sweet is eaten, hence we start our menu with desserts. Desserts are about childhood and reuniting with the emotions we felt chasing and catching the ice-cream van depending on where and which era you’re from. It’s about our past, the carefreeness of youth, our traditions and where we come from. The Bollywood Stories menu features Indian street specials and Indo-Chinese starters before moving on to tandoori specialities, curries and biryanis. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian thali platters are also served. The desserts selection includes gulab jamun, ras malai, gajar ka halwa or kulfi. A variety of Indian beverages including buttermilk and lassi are available. Bollywood Stories is a 2-minute walk from Holborn Tube Station.
