Cart & Horses is just fifty yards from Maryland station and a stone’s throw away from Stratford station and the Olympic Park, including the home of West Ham Utd - the London stadium. It is known around the globe that Iron Maiden played some of their earliest gigs here at the Cart & Horses and the memorabilia on the walls shows and respects this history. Cart & Horses became the 1st Iron Maiden residential venue during 1976-1978 before they moved to Ruskin Arms in 1978 as Cart & Horses became too small for the Maiden fast growing crowd.
