Presse Books is a cafe and bookshop at the cultural hub FormaHQ in Southwark. It offers a wide range of artist publications and editions, speciality coffee, delicious pastries and toasties. It is tucked within an award-winning modernist building – a retro-fit set of garages from the 1960s – topped by the concrete oasis Peveril Gardens on its rooftop. Upcoming events Presse Books Fair is coming to FormaHQ on 17 June 2023 with over 30 independent publishers and artists, workshops, a live zine assemblage, talks, performances, readings and more. A free one-day festival to celebrate independent publishing in all its configurations, make new connections and give a platform to new practitioners in art publishing.
