About

The Southbank Printmakers is a co-operative of forty artists. We sell quality prints directly to visitors at affordable prices. Our eclectic collection will appeal to all tastes, styles and budgets. On our walls you will find a rich and diverse range of approaches to making artworks, from figurative to abstract, monochrome to technicolour and large to small; the one thing we all share is a love of creating images by putting ink onto paper. It is an artist-run gallery with a different printmaker in each day. This means that visitors have an artist on hand to explain how the prints have been made, what the different printing techniques involve, and to answer any other questions they may have. Every two months we refresh the walls with a new exhibition, so there is often something new to see. You can buy the work ready-to-hang as a framed print, or look through the hundreds of unframed prints in our browsers. We are located by the riverside walk on the Southbank.
