About

Malden DSME operates the Thames Ditton Miniature Railway. We have been running passenger trains for all ages on the miniature railway for 87 years. The ground level railway is for the large scale trains and the elevated railway is for the smaller scale trains. We hope you will be able to visit us during the year for a ride on our trains and enjoy the atmosphere of our railway and it's trains. Our meadow has large picnic tables and umbrellas. Near the level crossing you will find a Coffee van and an Ice Cream van (Weather permitting). The railway opens on the first Sunday of every month from Easter until October plus bank holiday Sundays and Mondays. Trains run between 1pm-4:30pm. We usually do a Santa Special on one Sunday in December.
